2 Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
Thought of the day….
A few weeks ago I wrote about seeing the movie “Blind Side.” Last night my wife and I watched a 20/20 special about the movie and Micheal Oher. The show didn’t reveal anything different from the movie; however, it did bring out a few points that stuck in my mind. Toward the end of the program, another young man was introduced to us that was also being mentored and cared for in much the same way as Micheal. The things that stuck out to me were that both young men had no positive male influence in their early life. Nevertheless, they both had a desire to be .....
