Jesus Was Learning Not Teaching
There is a HUGE misconception that Jesus was teaching the religious leaders in the Temple...He was not. Instead He was listening, absorbing, asking questions and learning as much as He could about the Scriptures known at that time. While the leaders in the Temple were amazed at Jesus' understanding of what they were sharing with Him...He was not teaching them...He was learning.
