13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!
Well in this passage Jesus is explaining that he is getting ready to leave and go to heaven. He is going to go to prepare a place in heaven for everyone. He says he will be back to get everyone. While he is gone he tells the disciples that they can ask anything in his name.
This verse brings the current situation with close friends hurting from cancer in mind. It helps me realize this situation is to bring glory to God. And that all we have to do is ask and he will answer. The question is do I trust his answer?
Lord help me to ask and to trust you fully. Also do the impossible in this situation Lord show yourself to us and use this for your Glory.
