And so faith, hope, love abide [faith--conviction and belief respecting man’s relation to God and divine things; hope--joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love--true affection for God and man, growing out of God’s love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love. We want to understand the "The Secret of Being Able to Love". To be able to love God and to be able to love our fellow man.
For us to really love as God loves we need to understand these two aspects;
1/ God's love for us, as the prime mover in our salvation and our on going santification, plus
2/ The impartation of 'His' love into our beings so that we are able to love, not with our human love which is but a mere reflection of his great love, but with that devine love that God has shed abroad in our hearts.
