why the miracle?
29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" Acts 16:29-30 TNIV
It must have been a no brainer for Paul and Silas to just leave and be free from their imprisonment after all it was God’s power that broke open the prison doors and broke their chains. But somehow Paul knew that this miracle had a bigger purpose and that was so that the prison guard would come to know God.
What a reminder for me to look out for the full purpose of miracles around me each day and be open to all that God wants to do in the lives of those who don’t know Him through these circumstances.
God help me to see as you see so I can do as you do!
