Physician Assisted Suicide
I'm reading about physician-assisted suicide in my Bioethics and the Law class. These verses popped into my head. One of the main arguments for allowing physician-assisted suicide, or the "right to die," is to decrease suffering. But the Word tells us that suffering has a purpose. We may not like it, it may even be horrible, but suffering has a purpose. God's plan for our lives may include suffering. Each of us will experience suffering in a different way, but end-of-life suffering does not justify physician-assisted suicide.
