Joshua 6:1-10 ASV

Many of us have "walls" in our lives. A wall is defined as an architectural partition with a height and length greater than its thickness; used to divide or enclose an area or to support another structure. Walls are usually concrete and hard to break down....So lets put this in the context of our lives and how God told Joshua to compass the city and the walls would be brought down..... We all have things in our lives that cause us to slip back into a sinful time, it may be drugs, alcohol or whatever.. Those are "walls" in our lives... But as God told Joshua a wall is just a wall, and can be broken down and eventually destroyed altogether... God gives us instructions, much like he gave to Joshua to fit every circumstance of our lives. Its up to us to follow those instructions and to be able to knock down our particular walls.. God has given us authority over the things of this world, but we have to tap into that power, follow his instructions (the bible), have determination, be obedient, and any walls u have in your life will come down.
