God is amazing in that He makes a deal with His people and they don't keep their end of the bargain so He makes a new and better deal with them. God worked out a great deal with Israel when He lead them out of Egypt and gave them the law and telling them if they'd stick with what He told them, they'd be blessed. But Israel was stupid (just like we are) and didn't hold up their end of the deal.

So what does God do? Amazingly, He offers them another deal, a better deal and says forget stone, I'm writing the terms of this deal on their hearts! I'll be their God, they'll be my people! People will know God personally and here's the best part of the deal....forgiveness. God is going to forgive their sins and not hold it against them.

That same deal is offered to us. Know God personally because He's changed our hearts, and have our sins forgiven, knowing He won't hold them against us. This is a no-brainer....I'll take that deal. Will you?
