Revelation 20
1 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.2 And he laid hold on the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be finished: after this he must be loosed for a little time.4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.5 The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection.6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.7 And when the thousand years are finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,8 and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.9 And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them.10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.13 And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.14 And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.15 And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
Offenbarung 20
1 Dann sah ich einen Engel aus dem Himmel niedersteigen,t der hielt den Schlüssel zum Abgrund und eine große Kette in seiner Hand.2 Er griff den Drachen, die alte Schlange, den Teufel, den Satan,t band ihn für tausend Jahre3 und warf ihn in den Abgrund.t Dann verschloß er über ihmt den Eingang und legte ein Siegel darauf,t damit er bis zu dem Ablauf der tausend Jahre die Völker nicht mehr verführe. Nach dieser Zeitt muß ert (noch einmal) für eine kleine Weile losgelassen werden.4 Und ich sah Throne. Darauf setzten siet sich nieder, und sie empfingen Vollmacht, das Gericht zu halten. / Auch sah ich die Seelent derer, die enthauptet waren, weil sie von Jesus Zeugnis abgelegt und Gottes Wort verkündigt,t sowie die Seelen jener, die das Tier und sein Bild nicht angebetet noch das Zeichen auf ihre Stirn und ihre Hand genommen hatten.t Sie (alle) wurden wieder lebendig und herrschten tausend Jahre lang als Könige mit Christus.t5 - Die anderen Toten aber wurden erst nach Ablauf der tausend Jahre wieder lebendig. Dies ist die erste Auferstehung.t6 Selig und heilig ist, wer teilhat an der ersten Auferstehung! Über sie hat der zweite Tod keine Gewalt, sondern sie werden Priester Gottes und Christi sein und mit ihm in den tausend Jahren als Könige herrschen.7 Wenn aber die tausend Jahre zu Ende sind, so wird der Satan aus seinem Gefängnis losgelassen werden.8 Dann geht er aus, um die Völker Gog und Magog,t die an den vier Enden der Erdet wohnen, zu verführen und sie so zahlreich wie Sand am Meer zum Kampf zu versammeln.9 Sie zogen hinauft über die Erde, so weit sie ist,t und umringten das Heerlager der Heiligen und die geliebte Stadt.t Da fiel Feuer vom Himmel und verzehrte sie.t10 Und ihr Verführer, der Teufel, ward in den Feuer- und Schwefelsee geworfen, wo auch das Tier und der falsche Prophet sind, und sie sollen Tag und Nacht gequält werden bis in alle Ewigkeit.11 Dann sah ich einen großen, glänzenden Thron und den, der darauf saß. Vor dessen Antlitz flohen die Erdet und der Himmel, und keine Stätte fand sich mehr für sie.t12 Ich sah die Toten, groß und klein, vor dem Thron stehen, und Bücher wurden aufgeschlagen.t Auch ein anderes Buch, das Buch des Lebens,t ward geöffnet. Und die Toten wurden gerichtet nach ihren Werken,t so wie es in diesen Büchern aufgezeichnet war.13 Das Meer gab die Toten zurück, die es barg; auch der Tod und die Unterweltt gaben ihre Toten heraus, und jeder ward gerichtet nach seinen Werken.14 Dann wurden Tod und Unterwelt in den Feuersee geworfen.t Dieser Feuersee ist der zweite Tod.15 Wer nicht in dem Lebensbuch verzeichnet stand,t der wurde in den Feuersee geworfen.t
