What does God want from you this year?
God spoke every thing into existence. Wonder upon wonder He created from nothing. Amazing!
He made man in His image. Man was made special unlike any other thing He created. Then He gave us dominion over the earth. Adam and Eve were to subdue the earth together, as one. The foundation of marriage is the only platform from which you can subdue. God's plan is for us to train our children in the way they should conduct their lives.
Adam and Eve failed in their mission. Adam was charged with keeping His garden clean. Men are charged with keeping the serpent out of the garden. Men guard your garden. Keep the serpent out.
Eve listened to the lies of the serpent. Women don't listen to the serpents lies. Study and know the Word of God and speak that to the serpent when He starts with the lies.
Jesus calls us to fulfill the Great Commission. His calling on our life is to extend the Kingdom of Heaven. God's purpose from the beginning was to create a world that brings glory to Him. If we call Jesus our Master then we can't ignore His command.
What are some of the things we can do?
We can:
- Pray without ceasing. Get serious. Keep a journal and see how The Lord works.
- Tithe. Use your resources to glorify Him.
- Let your light shine before men. Let your life be a window through which others see the love of Jesus.
- Use your spiritual gifts. You will be held accountable for how you used the gifts you have been given.
