Godliness is Christianity
Ps. 4:3: "But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him."
Christianity is centered upon godly living, which stems from having a relationship with Jesus. Therefore, our lives of godliness are a witness to our relationship with Jesus; and those who live godly demonstrate the life-changing power of Jesus in their lives.
Those who live like the world lives, not adhering to the principles of the Word of God, are just making a show of their Christianity. This is a mockery to God; and God does not respect their confession of Christianity.
It is only those who are serious about their relationship with Jesus and godly lives that God honors by setting them apart for Himself and answering their prayers.
