Regular Times of Prayer

Ps. 5:3 - "My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up."
David had a regular practice of praying to God. This is an example set forth for every Christian. What we Christians have is a relationship with God; and a relationship cannot survive without regular communication. That is one of the reasons that it is important for us to seek the Lord in prayer on a daily basis.

Moreover, praying to God in the morning is a good way to start the day. Not only do we allow God to work in our lives from the onset of the day, we also start the day off with a God-centered focus. All too often, we turn to God after something bad happens in their lives (often by our own doing). I think this may be avoided, to a great extent, by seeking God as soon as we rise, every day.
