God has Standards
Ps. 5:4-6: "For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man."
While it's true that God is a loving God, He has standards as well. He will not tolerate sin; and all that continue in their sins will be destroyed. There is good reasons for this: If God allows sin to continue in Heaven, we will have the same problems up there as we are experiencing in the world right now.
God want's us to learn to live according to this Word. This is not because He is some kind of a killjoy. He knows the destructive nature of sin and doesn't want us to be ruined by it. And He wants all of us to enjoy the righteous paradise that He has prepared for us.
