Crime Does Not Pay
Ps 7:14-16: "Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate."
Crime and wickedness just does not pay. Often times, the wicked man comes to an unfortunate end (for him, at least). The murderer gets discovered and is sentenced to death. The rapist gets sent to prison where other prisoners may do him harm. This is the intervention of God. He sees and judges the affairs of men.
There are those, however, who's crimes are not discovered. At least, not in this life. However, they will get what's coming to them because nothing escapes the notice of God; and He will judge each man according to his works (Rev. 20:12).
