I Peter 1:22 Purified by obedience
When I was reading this passage, I expected the 'purified' to be followed by repentance not 'obedience'. It kind of took me off guard. Then, I thought again and it made sense to me that repentance meant turning around and coming back to God. So that true repentance cannot be achieved without true obedience. That regret and sorrow without obedience is just feeling sorry not repentance.
