Here we find out the real reason that Jonah didn't want to go to Nineveh. He wanted them to all be destroyed. He had allowed his hatred and bitterness to consume him.

What can you do to be reminded that all can come to repentance?
Would it help to remember that God saved you when you didn't deserve it? What if God showed you the same justice that you want others to be shown?
He is a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
