Walk in the oath of the good way. You don't need to run. Everyone can keep up with this pace. God invites us to walk in it. If you find this oath and walk in it, you will find rest for your souls.

In theory beginning there was work and this is part of God's plan. He was a "blue collar worker". He brings dignity to the workplace. God then place man to do the work. Our work is a way of making a living, enables us to thrive, building cultures.
Who is watching your work? Wo are you working for? Who's opinion REALLY matters in the end?
When you work do it right, don't do a crappy job. Our work is an expression of our creativity. Work is one if the primary places God is at work IN us.
Colossians 3:17
At work the gospel gives us a moral compass for wise and ethical decisions, it changes our motivations, encourages us to work diligently.

Retain the work to which God has called you until God releases you.
Be good at WHATEVER you do. ALL jobs are ways of loving your neighbor.

The rhythm of work and rest is for our benefit. You can only be a slave to work for so long but eventually you are running on empty. We all need rest.
Jesus viewed the sabbath differently than other religious people of his time.
Mark 2:27 - the sabbath was made to benefit people.
Palm 23:1-3 - god restores you and refreshes your life. We matter to Him and He cares for us. EVERYTHING that burdens us can be cast on Him. He is at work in us. God has Hs part but we also have our part.
