Sin's Easy Path - Pastor Mark McCarty #youversion notes

The Easy Path To Sin

Satan sometimes confronts Christians with blatant temptations to sin. However many of these temptations come much more subtly. Many sins begin in much more innocent situations. Here are a few examples.

Private conversations with members if the opposite sex without your spouse.

Going where you shouldn't. (In real life and on-line)

Someone treats you badly and you slander them in a conversation with a co-worker.

You spend money you don't have because others (fill in the blank) you.

Why does Satan come at you this way? He wants you to not do what The Lord has commanded of you. If he can't get you to stop he wants to delay you.

Fear is Satan's favorite weapon. Fear paralyzes Christians and God's plan for their life. To be what God has called you to be you have to understand The Lords will for your life and follow it without delay. Don't let distractions, which leads to delay or sin, come between you and the life to which God has called you. Follow Nehemiah's example and fulfill God's calling in your life.
