When God told Abraham that he would have...

When God told Abraham that he would have to sacrifice his son, he didn't even question the Lord. He obeyed and trusted in the Lord. This was Abraham's only son, but he was willing to give him up to please the Lord. The fact that he was willing to give up his most sacred thing his life, showed that he was dedicated to the Lord and that he was completly sold out to Him even though he knew it would hurt him. Sometimes in life the Lord will call us to give up the most precious things in our life. However, the way we react when he calls us to make these drastic changes show how we really feel. Will we follow without even asking why or will we try to debate the Lord on it? The story of Issac an Abraham shows that we shouldn't even question that we should just follow and believe that the Lord will make a way, just like Abraham did. When he trusted the Lord, He responded by providing Abraham with the ram to sacrifice instead of Issac. http://glo.to/l?1=GEN022002-014
