The Law Leads Us to Jesus

Ps. 19:7 - "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: ..."

This Psalm brings up an important point: The Law of God is an instrument of conversion. That is because God's Ten Commandment Law leads us to Jesus, Who changes our hearts and lives.
How this works is, the Law points out what sin is. "... for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Rom. 3:20. In other words, it helps us recognize that we are sinners. When we recognize that we are sinners, we recognize that we need a savior. That savior is Jesus.
