Luke 12:25,26,31

But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

Jesus says that I can't add a single hour to my life. It is true that I can't no matter what I do. But Jesus then says "Since you cannot do this very little thing." By saying this He says that adding an hour to someone's life is simple. Simple for who? It is simple for GOD. It is not even remotely hard for Him so why do I worry about anything? Then Jesus says how to attain the things that I need without worrying. He says, "But seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well." LORD teach me to surrender.

GOD of all majesty and power I glorify You. There is nothing too hard for You. Please forgive me when I am so arrogant that I act as if I had the power to change my circumstances through worrying or by my own power. Please help me to realize that You are all powerful and that I can do nothing without You. I have no power without You. Please teach me to seek first Your kingdom in everything I do. I cannot learn this without You. I surrender all I am to You. All honor and glory be Yours forever in Jesus' name amen.
