In Psalm 1, it seperates the blessed and the wicked.

The Blessed
• Loves the law of the Lord, and purposefully seeks after Him (v. 2)
⁃ They want to do everything to be in God's presence. It is not a burden to have a relationship with the Lord, but more like a blessing.
• They continue to grow and proseper in life; they are in the position to bless others; they are blessed and do not die but have life. (v. 3)
• They can stand God's Judgment(v. 5)

The Wicked
• They are like chaff
⁃ Meaning that they are easily blown away; they stand for nothing; they are not rooted to anything.
⁃ They really have no purpose for life. They are here today and gone tomorrow.
• They cannot take God's judgment
⁃ They will never have the ability to stand infront of God and stand blameless
• They are destructive
⁃ Nothing they do will prosper, because they are in sin.
