When Joseph revealed himself to his fami...

When Joseph revealed himself to his family, he did not have anger or hatred against them; he showed them love, grace in mercy. He acted as though nothing bad has happened and that he still loved them. Joseph's story is something of how God acts when we sin against Him. The Lord still welcomes us with open arms, forgetting of all the wrong that we have done. The Lord forgets eveything we have done and says that He still loves us, even though He knows the wrong that we have commited. The same way Joseph reacted to his brothers is the way we should react to those who have wronged us. Holding grudges and trying to get revenge is not the way to show someone, LOVE is. Love makes the situation better and easier. If Joseph would have been hateful towards his brother, what would it have proved? Would it have made the situation any better? No, it would have been worse. But, because Joseph decided to show love, the family was able to come back together as if nothing happend. They were able to be a family again! That is what God wants from us, to be a family, not torn apart. Division only creates strife and hatred, but unity and forgiveness creates love, which is what God is all about! http://glo.to/l?1=GEN045001-028
