Good and Upright is the Lord
Ps. 25:8 - "Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way."
People are so quick to judge the character of God, sometimes. They say God allows evil; therefore, God must be evil to some extent. No! That couldn't be farther from the truth. David here, writes, "Good and upright is the Lord: ..." God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good. Make no doubt about it!
God is so good that he is willing to forgive us for our sins and lead us in His way; if only we are willing. Who else is that good? I mean, really. Put it into perspective. We killed His Son, Jesus, by our sins. Yet, God is willing to forgive us for that if we just repent from our sins and confess them to Him. Not only that, He wants to bring us into His family. He wants to lead us, to teach us; like a loving father leads and teaches his son. Let me not hear such nonsense that a God willing to do that for us is evil.
