The Israelies were afraid when they saw the Egyptians coming their way, they stopped praising the Lord and started questioning Him. Instead of standing in faith and knowing that God had a plan, they crumbled at the thought that they were doomed. Moses instead stood strong, knowing and believing that God did not lead them out of Egypt to die. When under pressure of a possible failure, Moses did not stop and worry, instead he told everyone "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you wil never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." (v. 13-14). Moses did not doubt the Lord, he knew that He was stil with him. In our walk with God we have to know even in times of doubt and fear that the Lord is still there and He will deliever us out of these hard situtations. The Lord does not bring us to these types of situations for us to lose faith in Him, but so that we can see His greatness and His power. The Lord loves us too much to let us fail. The Lord wants nothing but the best for us; when we doubt Him, we are basically saying that He does not love us. We have to stand strong in our faith and know that God loves us and will not let us fail but protect and deliver us! http://glo.to/l?1=EXO014010-018
