Why Should I Be Bound When....
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 KJV)
We have freedom now, because Christ made us free. So stand strong in that freedom. Don’t go back into slavery again. (Galatians 5:1 ERV)
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1 NIV)
Christ has set us free! This means we are really free. Now hold on to your freedom and don't ever become slaves of the Law again. (Galatians 5:1 CEV)
Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you. (Galatians 5:1 MSG)
Praise God! I was speaking and praying and then praising God this morning about breaking chains. I kept praying "break every chain" "break every chain". I went through every part of my physical body and my mind and issues that presently came to mind. I visualized chains being broken.
I quoted scripture about Jesus taking our yokes upon Him and lifting our burdens. The song "Perfect Peace" came to me at the end of my prayer and I kept repeating the stanza " Why should I bound when Christ Has Set Me Free? He has lifted All of my burdens. So why should I be bound when Christ Has Set Me Free?" I repeated this over and over until I realized it. Praise God!
I was about to get ready to work on something but I was compelled to read the verse of the day and here it was. Galatians 5:1.... Just as plain as day! God spoke to my spirit already, but He confirmed it with His Word again. Every translation from NIV to CEV to ERV put it in my heart even more.
I thank God for His divine revelation.
