Because of your faith, it will happen
Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” (Matthew 9:29 NLT)
Faith placed in God is never misplaced. Faith in God makes things happen. According to scripture, faith is the confident assurance that something you don't have will happen. The believer in Christ is called to live by faith. Faith in God is trusting in Him and what His word says. The just shall live by his or her faith. What is most important to your breakthrough or miracle is your faith and not everybody's faith. Faith removes limitation. Faith sees through the darkness. Faith makes the impossible to become possible. Faith is an expectation of good and to have good irrespective of the current situation or experience. Jesus said to the blind men - because of your faith it will happen. They are blind but they believe that God can make them see. I don't have that baby. The doctors say I cannot have that baby but I have faith that God will enable me have that baby or babies. Things are not as easy as I would have wanted but I have faith that God will make it happen. Nothing is impossible for God and nothing shall be impossible to you if you have faith in God.
What do you have faith for? What's the "it" in your life? What is your goal or desire or expectation. You must have an expectation or goal or desire. God can do anything. But you must have an expectation. Faith draws out the power of God to influence or change situations. God is pleased when we put our faith in Him. He is pleased when we live by faith. Living by faith is a daily affair. Not something you switch on today and switch off tomorrow.
What is that thing or the it in your life? The blind men expected something from God. They put their faith in God. They were not disappointed. You will not be disappointed. That which you have faith for is coming. It looks like it is slow in coming. It looks like it is not coming. It looks like they more you stretch out your faith the harder or darker the situation looks. But if Christ said something will happen then surely it will happen. The job will happen. The joyful home will happen. The relationship or marriage will be fixed. The things lost will be restored. God will make a way. The children will come. Yes, because of your faith those things and indeed everything you have faith for will happen. In His timing too. That's the one that is difficult for the flesh to handle. His timing. It will happen but in God's timing.
This is not the time to throw in the towel. This is not the time to quit. This is not the time to doubt. This is the time to keep living by faith. This is the time to continue in faith. Faith will release the power of God for your change and breakthrough. The woman with the issue of blood had struggled and suffered disappointment for twelve years. But she did not stop. She stretched her faith one more time and what she had longed to happen for twelve years without success happened. Stay in faith and live by faith for God has said it will happen because of your faith. And it will surely happen.
