Starving?
Not sure i understand this correctly.....they had live stock ...goats , cattle, sheep but they were starving and sold the cattle for food? Wat food ? Grain? I'm lost
Ok after looking into this some more I found an explanation that sounds right....they prob did eat SOME of their own cattle but because here was no crops and land was dry the cattle didn't have anything to eat either so by selling the cattle it would provide them with food for a year and also free the owner from the burden of not being able to feed their cattle
