In Naomi's sadness, she wanted to push everyone out of her life. Sometimes when drastic things happen in our life we like to push people away, but we cannot do that. God puts people in our lives to help us in our hurt and depression, and we cannot push them away, because they are the ones who will help us through this rough patch in our lives. It is better to have support than to be alone. We are not ment to be alone in any aspect of our lives, that is why God put more than one person in this world. Don't let your depression push the most important people away in your life, because those are the people who will make the difference in the way you will recover. Ruth was willing to stay and do everything for Naomi so that she could recover from her loss.
