To Be Reminded

S - After the victory, the L ord instructed Moses, “Write this down on a scroll as a permanent reminder, and read it aloud to Joshua: I will erase the memory of Amalek from under heaven.” (Exodus 17:14 NLT)

O - God instructs Moses to write down and remind Joshua of the victory he experienced because of God's mighty power. Joshua needed to be reminded of this because soon he was going to be the leader and he needed to remember how God had taken care of him.

A - This is why it is so important to keep in God's word. This reminds me the God I serve is faithful and he has and will take care of his people.

P - Father, thank you for this reminder. It is so good to know, and be reminded, of your faithfulness. Use me today for your glory.
