Fear vs Power/Love/Self-control

2 Tim 1:7- God has NOT given is a spirit of fear, but power, love and self-control.

Power-
Paul tells us to be anxious for nothing! This might mean you need to turn the news off, remove yourself from things/people that cause worry, atleast until u get stronger in your faith. Find ways to help yourself exercise obedience, when dealing with fear outside of urself.. But, if the fear cannot be turned away from (if its in your mind)... learn to replace that fear (which is from Satan) with the TRUTH (which is from God). Remember there is POWER in the name of JESUS!

Love-
God gave us a loving spirit to fight against fear. (1Jn 4:18) There is no fear where love exists. Rather, perfect love banishes fear (fear involves punishment) and the person who lives in fear has not been perfected in love!

Self-control-
Eph 6:10-16 Paul tells us to stand on truth.. put on the "whole armor of God" and fight against your enemy that is causing u to fear.

♥♥♥ John 16:33 I have told you these things so that "in me" you may have peace. In this world you will have much trouble, but be of GOOD CHEER for I have overcome the world!!
