The full armor of God is so needed today..

Each part of the armor shows believers exactly what they need to have to remain protected from Satan and his minions. Mr. Lu-Cifer (Satan) is a strong non-truthful enemy (not near as strong as God), so Paul tells us to be strong in the Lord. “Give no place to the devil” (Eph. 4:27)—instead suit up completely, and leave zero areas of your life unprotected so that the enemy can’t get in and mess it up (I don’t mean into you - believers can’t become possessed of demons).

A peril or danger on the battlefield is not only when we believers don’t take God seriously, but also when we don’t take the enemy seriously, and therefore fail to PUT ON ALL OF THE ARMOR OF GOD. Please never underestimate the clever strategy or strength of the enemy. He hates you and has a horrible plan for your entire future..and for those around you. He likes to kill, steal and destroy..fast or slow, how ever he can. He prefers fast, wanting you with him. Focus on Jesus, not demons, but by faith put on the armor early and daily. Be not like those fearful believers who talk about demons and darkness more than Christ and His light. Of course much truth and error has been taught on how to prayerfully get dressed. And children of the light must be biblical, and completely suited up, ready for battle (but not against people per se cuz flesh and blood ain't ever our real or primary enemy).

Yeah, choose not to be a streaker in the buff spiritually, but choose to be 100% clad as a diligent, balanced, seeker of eternal truth. Put on Christ, His compassion and humility. Be one that knows how to effectively witness and testify with the Word, and how to wield the sword of the Spirit offensively when tempted. Yes, that’s the only offensive part of the armor listed for us to use in attacking the enemy’s strongholds to defeat him. Remember how Jesus Himself won by using the sword (the written Word) when tempted by the devil in the wilderness.

Never forget that ongoing, believing prayer is so important in this area. Christ’s faithful soldier must pray with his eyes open so to speak “Watch and pray” (Mk. 13:33) and stand strong having this armor on secure in Christ. This means more than maintaining a good attitude or hope-so-wish. It’s having a confident, proper mindset. God wants each of us to be fully protected and strong for the warfare before us. It's more than an awareness of mind, of the spirit, and of the right demeanor that we exhibit. It has to do with being awake with discernment, aware of the unseen struggle and combat around us. God wants us knowing and applying His Word in the fight, never ignorant of the devil's ploy, ways, and evil devices. Therefore study what each piece of the armor is all about and for, and be not passive or un-discerning as you or others are..via Satan’s deceptions..being spiritually ripped off. By faith walk, war, and witness in victory for God's glory alone.
