"...So even the cattle know it's near." Job 36:33

In this verse it is talking about the rain. It says that even the cattle know that the rain is near. This is funny, because the cows in a field all will sit down before it rains. Like, 2 hours before it even happens, they will all sit down!

So don't drive past a cow field and see "Oh one cow is sitting down! It must be about to rain!" It's usually at least half (but usually more) of the herd. This is a picture that kinda shows what I mean. It was the only one I could find, and its a little blurry:

Big link, but if you look (you'll have to copy paste) you will see that the cows are all laying down, and the sky is REALLY cloudy and gray.

We see that this isn't just an old wives tale, it's true, and it's straight from the Bible!
