Under His Son

God is a God of balance. If it were up to me I'd probably say:
There is a time to be wealthy and buy anything you want, and that would be all the time!
But God knows that we would become selfish, self centered and spoiled if that we're so! So He has a time for the pleasant as well as the unpleasant!

God chooses life AND death!

There is a time to be born and a time to die. There is a time to plant and a time to pull up plants. (Ecclesiastes 3:2 NCV)

God made us to cry tears. It didn't just happen. And, not just tears of happiness, but tears that mourn. Tears are a part of life!

There is a time to cry and a time to laugh. There is a time to be sad and a time to dance.
(Ecclesiastes 3:4 NCV)

Whatever time it is, God's timing is never wrong!

There is a time to look for something and a time to stop looking for it. (Ecclesiastes 3:6a NCV)

Is God saying that it 's time to quit looking for that neon rainbow?
Start living His dream for you and throw yours out?

There is a time to keep things and a time to throw things away. (Ecclesiastes 3:6b NCV)

And...
There is a time to kill and a time to heal.
(Ecclesiastes 3:3A NCV)

Maybe you need to kill the relationship- you know -that toxic friendship, that shady business partner, that lover that is wrong for you...
Maybe that relationship is drawing you the wrong way!
Maybe it's time go rebuild in another area!

There is a time to destroy and a time to build.
(Ecclesiastes 3:3B NCV)

It's all for our good--the good as well as the bad can be viewed as beautiful because even the negative things are meant to make us more beautiful! He has made everything beautiful in its time.
(Ecclesiastes 3:11A NIV)

Inside we know there's purpose! Inside we sense God doing something in us. We can sense it, but we can't quite get it!

He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11B NIV)

We long for God! Many people don't know it, but that's what they're longing for- for Him! They long to worship their Creator!

Animals don't have this longing... this restlessness to know God ... they're usually happy if they're fed and if their earthly master is near.

Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath ; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless.
(Ecclesiastes 3:19 NIV)

Even though you look at a dead animal and a dead man, there doesn't seem to be much difference...they're both not breathing....

All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. (Ecclesiastes 3:20 NIV)

But.... there IS a difference...

Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” (Ecclesiastes 3:21 NIV)

For all you animal lovers out there that can't imagine your pet not going to heaven... we don't know exactly what goes on, Christ will come back riding a white horse the scripture tells us, so maybe they'll be animals in heaven, but they don't have the capacity to worship and live for God!
They seem to be devoted to their earthly master, not our heavily Father!
They were not created in His imagine as you and I were!

Solomon has times when he has those 'under the sun' earthly thoughts...when 'everything' seems unbalanced!
He gets pessimistic and negative from his thoughts 'under the sun '...

Moreover I saw under the sun: In the place of judgment, Wickedness was there;
And in the place of righteousness, Iniquity was there.
(Ecclesiastes 3:16 NKJV)

But thank God we don't just live under the sun! We live under HIS SON!
And when we live 'under His Son' our thinking begins to change, we can see His intentions for us....we can see purpose! And then, OUR thoughts begin to change...

I said in my heart, “God shall judge the righteous and the wicked, For there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.” (Ecclesiastes 3:17 NKJV)

There's a purpose for life and a time to give yours to Jesus!
Jesus says today is THAT time!

God says, “At the right time I heard your prayers. On the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you that the “right time” is now, and the “day of salvation” is now.
(2 Corinthians 6:2 NCV)
