I was in a band for a few months before I had to move and quit. I miss that band very, very much. We used to sing this song a lot by Hillsong United. Beautiful lyrics, lovely pace, just the perfect song to cry out to God.

I have said in a previous note that most of people's heartfelt prayers are in a certain place. This is one of those 'prayer closet' type of songs. You are just crying out to God to come inside you and consume you.

If you are a believer, yes, He is already inside you. People say they are sanctified when they are saved. This is true, however, they are not close to being totally sanctified. Sanctification is a process. So in this song, we are asking the Holy Spirit to continue to make us more like Christ so it is suitable for Him to live there.

I would suggest listening to this song on YouTube. It is simply beautiful! I know my band sang it a little different than the original, so the original lyrics are the same, we just smushed chorus 1 & 2 together :) LOL.

But, please, listen to My Heart, Your Home! Or at LEAST read the lyrics!
