Wise or foolish

On first appearance there is no difference between these women...
All are virgins, all are expectant, all carry their lamps, all go to sleep ...and the darkness comes...and only five of the lamps were functional, only five joined the bridegroom.
You can do all the " Christian" things and say all the words (be part of the born again club- John Bevere) yet not be in relationship with Christ. if you only want the benefits of Christianity, or only embrace the values of Christianity ultimately a time will come when the true substance of your relationship with God will be revealed...and God will not say - well done, you went to church every week, or well done, you can quote scriptures/ have the right bumper sticker/ etc. He will only say either a know you or I don't know you.
LORD, if all the outward appearances of my life were stripped away what would be revealed? Would I be ready to meet You? I want to know you not from a distance or through others but personally and intimately... More and more each day.
