God Makes Me Holy
S - Do not bring shame on my holy name, for I will display my holiness among the people of Israel. I am the L ord who makes you holy. (Leviticus 22:32 NLT)
O - God instructs the people about how they are to live and what makes them clean and unclean. Throughout the last three chapters he tells them that he is the one who makes them holy. He warns them not to bring shame to his holy name by the way they live because God's holiness will dwell among them.
A - It is not by my acts that make me holy, but I can bring shame on the holy name of God by not loving according to the standards he has set before me.
P - Father, forgive me for the times I do bring shame to your holy name and help me to live the holy life you have so freely given me.
