I John 5:3-5 loving God by overcoming world
When we love God by obeying His commands because we believe in Him, overcoming the world will not be burdensome. But the reality it's that many Christians cannot overcome the world and find it extremely burdensome. Why is that???
I believe that the problem comes or we are burdened because we do not truly love the Lord and do not truly want to overcome three world. In fact, we love the world. It's like a husband who knows that he should love his wife but cannot overcome the temptations of the world and gives in to infidelity. After awhile he not only gives in but is starting to seek out.
Remember that those who truly believe in Jesus, truly, cannot help but to love the Lord by obeying His command and finds that the overcoming is not that burdensome.
