Part of livin' the life...
.. in Christ Jesus is accurately sounding out (if you're saved) and teaching all the Words/counsels of God (if you lead in a church) boldly. It's part of being a good example for others to follow.
Of course having a disciplined prayer life, a good (I mean a holy, moral, keep your promises kinda) Name, yes, maintaining a sterling-blameless reputation that's authentically above reproach both inside and outside the local church.. should actually precede us verbally witnessing for Christ. Too many talk it minus the walking of it.
We indeed wanna.. as Jesus taught us.. get the speck out of our own eyes before the log out of another's eye (see orig language - same material), because God wants us all to see clearly in order to rightly apply the truth of the Word.
But we don't need to wait until we're flawless-perfect to start sharing the Gospel as some try to do.
Who around us would get saved if all believers were too afraid to tactfully open their mouths? Churches and saints grow as we all walk in the Spirit obeying the Lord's Great Commandment and Great Commission.. in that order. All are called to share Christ. Facebook.com/shareJesus
