Why merely call out to Him about...
things you think you can pull off on your own anyways and not about what you know is impossible?
Don't you believe in the God of the impossible - the Bible God?
Your love and vertical relationship with Him will grow when you look to the Lord to meet all your needs, believer.. as He promised to do.. and you'll see that He really cares about you far more than you originally thought when He says Yes to all those requests that are really good for you and those you care about.
Lukewarm believers stay lukewarm because they don't fully trust... and they've decided look to Him to meet some needs only, and look perhaps to the World, a friend, or to self to meet all the other needs that God wanted to meet much better. Remember Matthew 6:33.
