Encouragement From God
S - That night the Lord appeared to Paul and said, “Be encouraged, Paul. Just as you have been a witness to me here in Jerusalem, you must preach the Good News in Rome as well.” (Acts 23:11 NLT)
O - Paul had just went through a very stressful time and surely felt his life was at risk. That night God appeared to him and encouraged him by explaining he will share the gospel in Rome.
A - Focusing on the call of God on my life will carry me through many hard times. It is when I take my eyes off of God and his call and put it on the things around I get stressed out.
P - Father, so often I allow the things going on around to distract me from you. Give me the strength to keep my focus on you.
