When it simply looks way too..
late for God to keep His promise to you...it ain't. He has verascity, cant lie, and has a great trackrecord of keeping all His promises..yup, 100%.
Did you hear His Word real clear? I've been presumptious before thinking I did, but didn't (I was hearing well meaning friends more than Him).
It's full of promises - 4774 promises in His Book the Bible (some say 5000). But not every promise in the Bible is for you. And you and me can't just claim one that's made to another person. Duh. Cults do this weirdness and dont adhere to Christ and the Essentials. Some promises to Israel aren't yet, but will indeed be fullfilled.
Important: God's promises are each linked to their context. Ask.. Is this promise universal like..whosoever come.. (if so you can claim it) or is it personal..you will have a son in your old age (that promise was given to Abe (who was 100) and to his bride Sarah (who was 90 when it was fullfilled), but it was not made to you.
He has set eternity in our hearts - it's His plan. His will for you is best - trust Him fully. Is God able to help you also have a child in old age? Sure. There is an appointed time for everything - He appoints and anoints..and makes all things beautiful in His time.
Keep on seeking Him cuz He's so able to make His general will and His specific will for you very clear and it will always agree with what He put in the Bible.
It's funny that Sarah called Abe old. There mighta been snow on the rooftop, but there was a fire burnin' inside in the fireplace.
God might appear accidentally late but He never is..even though much He does seems later than we expected. Forget about your own schedule and plans as you askbthe Lord for sustaining strength and wisdom. Forgive yourself for being shortsighted and not being excited about His future plan. The best is yet to come.
