Life here can be a humbling experience huh.

Life often humbles you and me.. unless we resist what is being taught through it. No time for unbelief or a hard heart.

Why not change what you can change, or accept that it’s not your’s to change..at this time. Humility—knowing what you don’t know and can’t change.

Life will indeed teach you humility if you’re a willing, attentive student, but it will beat you up if you don’t cooperate right. Q. Why are children given?..why is each one of em a gift that God likes to give to believing parents? (Of course I hope your kids are always blessing to hangout with. But perhaps yours have not been and you totally regret that you even had kids? Many sadly feel that way.) Did you pray for some to be given? A. Off the cuff I can think of three reasons (among many others): 1.) They were give so that each child can enjoy love, provision, and stability in a warm and decent home. Duh. Too often a father won’t be a dad or even a husband, or a mother rejects being a mom and they basically condemns a child to poverty or worse. It’s selfish and wrong. Why live for self and sex, or hurt people, or end a life, or make their life about pain or lack? 2.) So we can in faith win and long-term help em. 3.) I believe that children are also given to humble us parents. Let it happen. Not a bad or particularly comfortable thing, but pride sure doesn’t bring blessing to people.

Choose to humble yourself before the Lord. Let life humble and even teach you. kurtwvs.tumblr.com
