Being Reminded
S - When you see the tassels, you will remember and obey all the commands of the L ord instead of following your own desires and defiling yourselves, as you are prone to do. (Numbers 15:39 NLT)
O - The Israelites were always doing what their own minds and own desires directed them to do rather than to follow God and his commands. So God gave the something to wear so when they saw those tassels it reminded them of God's commands.
A - I am no different from the people of Israel, my own mind and desires tend to go the opposite way from God. This is why I need to be in his word daily so to be reminded of his ways and his desires so to follow them.
P - Father, forgive me for the times I follow my own ways. Thank you for your word to direct my path and light my way.
