Trust in the Lord
Verse 127:1 tells us that what ever in life you are making, working on, creating, if it is not God's will it is useless. Therefore, we have to look to God, for his direction and guidance, in order for what we attempt to build to be God's will and not selfishness on our part.
Ask the Lord with an open heart, and He will show you the way. It may not be what you want. Believe that the Lord has an ultimate plan and if you obey and follow his plan, you will prosper. But if you believe you know what is best and proceed with your selfish plans, more turmoil than peace you will encounter!
Verse 127:2 again has to do with trusting the Lord. Always know that He will provide what you need. Put the Lord first, then your family and all else will fall into place. It is very difficult, at first, to take away the safety net of attempting to provide for yourself. The Lord will not forsake you. Once you let go and trust that God will provide for you, there will be peace in your life. No further worries, no exhaustive working, just peace. It is difficult to understand, but it will happen. Ask for guidance from Him, trust and believe and He will be there to support you.
