This psalm was either written by David or inspired by David. The Septuagint (Greek translation of the Old Testament) has a title that says this psalm was to be read/sang at the end of the Feast of Tabernacles.[1] This praise psalm declares God's superiority over the angels and false gods of the Canaanites. YHWH is greater than any force of nature. He is the source of strength and blessings for the Israelites and the reason for their confidence.
We too are to be confident in The Lord just as the Israelites were. We are to place our confidence in Him alone and not in flesh- ours or others'. The Holy Spirit moves through us and among us, achieving results for His kingdom in ways and magnitudes that we could never do by ourselves.
