God is sarcastic

God tells the people of Judah to free their slaves. He uses Jeremiah. It as almost as if he is trying to give them a second chance. A second chance to do what his law declares. God never wanted his people to be enslaved forever. He had it in place that they should be free. It is almost as if people fell on hard times and sold themselves into slavery they wouldn't have to be that way their whole lives, but the people changed their minds. It is almost worse then not listening at all. God save me from this. Please , that I would never obey then change my mind. Help to follow through no matter what. And I think it is almost funny what God says in the NIV it says " you are free , free to die by the sword , pestiline, and famine. " It says the same thing in other versions as well. I think sacarasm comes from God . I have know people in my past to say all sarcasm is wrong and demeening but God is using it here.
