True Discipleship

S - This amazed them. But Jesus said again, “Dear children, it is very hard to enter the Kingdom of God. (Mark 10:24 NLT)

O - Jesus lays it out in this passage. To be a follower of him, nothing should get in the way, nothing can be more important than him. He tells them to be a true follower is a very difficult thing.

A - Have I accepted a cheap copy of discipleship? Have I preached a watered down form of the kingdom of God? To follow Jesus is to let go of everything else. What do I still hold onto?

P - Father, oh how I do love you and desire to be the follower you deserve. Help me see what I am still holding onto and give me the strength to let go.
