Becoming a Caring Christian

If you want to be like Jesus you need to care. You aren't saved just to go to heaven. If you were He would have saved you, killed you and took you on to heaven. But because He keeps you it's more that He has planned for you to do.

TO BE A CARING CHRISTIAN:

I. A Sense of Significance
- With God on my side there is nothing I cannot do. One is enough. If God be for us who can be a against us?

II. Eyes That See
- You've got to have eyes that see the problem. Many of us pass right by things not because we don't have eyes but because we cannot see the issues. Faith without works is dead.

III. A Heart that Feels
- Have COMPASSION. Many of us have sympathy but not compassion. Stop acting like you've always had it made, somebody had to make a major investment in you! The things you see have to break your heart, to have some compassion!

IV. Hands That Help
- Many of us want to reap the benefits and the rewards but don't want to use you hands to labor. Thank God He's still got His hands on you.

V. Thinking Beyond Today
- We serve a God that takes care of TOMORROW! Have forward thinking. We've got to be proactive not reactive.
