Taking A Deep Look
When I really think about and take a look at this Scripture, nonetheless the devotional for today, I'm thinking that it must have been pretty special for Christ to step out of His place of Kingship, just to step into a human body to be a ransom for our sins. It must have made Him content and happy in knowing that because of His selfless sacrifice, that there would be those who'd accept His gift of love to us.
We live in a world of glamour and fame and whoever doesn't have what everyone else has m m it S's be poor. Jesus didn't have what others had, yet He was rich. So many times, we are judged by our income and a status. People don't look at hearts, but God does and I really believe that's the only thing that really matters. The word of God says that heaven and earth will pass, but His word (His thoughts, His plans, His ways) will remain. While others are judging what we don't have, God is looking at our hearts and smiling and saying, "Yes, that's my child!"
